ALT001 Therapy Update

At a major neuroscience meeting, DarwinCell unveiled ALT001, a stem cell–based treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and earned an Abstract of Distinction. Lab and animal data suggest nerve protection and muscle preservation. A small two-week human study hinted at gains, and the company plans to push regulatory steps in China and the United States to bring this hopeful option to people with ALS.
